Who we are.

Simply Nurturing Lives

Welcome to Simply Kind Frenchies
. Having a dog join your family may be one of the greatest gifts this world has to offer. Growing up with dogs in our family enriched our life in so many ways. We always had a constant companion, and they brought us an extra sense of comfort through the ups and downs of life.

Our breeding adventure actually started eight years ago. It was by fate when we were gifted Sheldon, a Boston Terrier. We came to love his fun-loving ways and silly antics. And although he could not say it in words, he seemed to express his gratefulness in his energy, a wag of the tail or a smile – saying, “I’m thankful that you are here, and I love you unconditionally.”  Soon afterward, our beloved Delilah joined our family.   We were so enamored with them both that we decided to venture into the world of hobby breeding, and we whelped three litters with them.

Not long after retiring our Boston Terriers, I met an undeniably charming female French Bulldog thru a fellow Boston Terrier Breeder.  Quickly discovering that the two breeds are not that different from each other, my husband and I decided to welcome French Bulldogs into our lives. Since I had a great success with our Boston Terriers, we decided to share French Bulldogs with the world through good breeding practices. That is when Eleanor, Sir Nelson, and Penny Lane joined our family.

We are very fortunate to have first experienced breeding Boston Terriers, as the French Bulldog is a very challenging dog to breed. There is nothing traditional about breeding them; as Frenchies simply cannot breed without human intervention at every step. This forced us to really dive into the science of breeding.  My husband is a dentist, which helped when we both hit the books and learned about genetics, canine hormone levels, preserving and shipping sperm, artificial insemination, etc..

We also invested in a lot of equipment, including a microscope, centrifuge, progesterone testing machine, and an ultrasound machine.  We complete genetic testing on all of our breeding dogs so we can avoid passing on genetic diseases, as nothing is more heartbreaking than watching your pet suffering from an entirely preventable condition. In addition to the DNA we complete OFA (Orthopedics foundation for Animals) certifications,  where we take a up close look at eyes, hearts, patellas,  tracheas, hips, spines, elbows,  complete blood panels and levels to include thyroid and liver functions. We know that most breeders don’t go to this amount of trouble, but these upgrades to our breeding program allow us to have great control over the quality of puppies that we produce; and help provide for the safety and welfare of our Frenchies.

We believe that the details really matter, and there’s a lot we have to get right in order to deliver the finest quality French Bulldogs in terms of health, personality, temperament-and let’s not forget cuteness! We respect the breed and will only produce French Bulldog puppies that have sound temperament and healthy parents.

Like children, we believe it is crucial for each puppy to have ample time with their mother and littermates so their personalities can develop in a good environment. As a small in-home breeder, our family can provide plenty of attention and affection to the puppies, which helps early socialization with humans before they go to new homes. We take extra care in selecting the best matched personality and temperament Frenchie Bulldog that fits YOUR personal or family needs. If for some reason we can’t meet your needs, we will direct you to a provider that can.

Every Simply Kind Frenchies puppy comes with a full health guarantee for one year, veterinarian-provided health certificate, AKC registration, puppy to-go bag, 30-day free health insurance, microchipping, and a whole lot of love ready to share with you or your family. In addition, we will always be just a phone call away should you have any questions or concerns about your puppy.

Hopefully by now you can tell that we really do love what we do! This isn’t just another business for us-our dogs are first and foremost part of our family. We also enjoy staying connected with a lot of our extended dog families, as it is heartwarming to watch our “Simply Kind Puppies” grow up!

We are Veteran – owned and operated.
