Welcoming a dog into your life may be one of the greatest gifts the world has to offer. Growing up with dogs in our family gave us constant companionship, unconditional love, and comfort through life’s highs and lows.

Our breeding journey began over ten years ago, when fate brought us Sheldon, a Boston Terrier whose playful spirit and silly antics instantly won our hearts. Though he couldn’t speak, his wagging tail, joyful energy, and signature “smile” always seemed to say, “I’m grateful you’re here, and I love you unconditionally.” Soon after, Delilah joined our family, and together they inspired us to explore the world of hobby breeding. Over the years, we lovingly whelped three litters of Boston Terriers.

After retiring our Bostons, we met an undeniably charming female French Bulldog through a fellow breeder. We quickly discovered that, while French Bulldogs shared much of the Boston Terrier’s personality, breeding them required a far greater level of dedication and expertise. This is when Eleanor, Sir Nelson, and Penny Lane became part of our family — marking the birth of Simply Kind Frenchies.

From Passion to Precision

French Bulldogs require hands-on care at every step of the breeding process, which led us to immerse ourselves in the science of canine reproduction. With my husband’s medical background as a dentist, we studied everything from genetics and canine hormone cycles to the preservation and shipping of semen, artificial insemination, and more.

We invested in professional veterinary-grade equipment — including a microscope and ultrasound machine — to manage every stage with precision and care.

Every breeding dog in our program undergoes extensive genetic testing to prevent the passing on of inherited diseases, as well as OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) certifications. This includes in-depth evaluations of eyes, hearts, patellas, tracheas, hips, spines, and elbows, plus complete blood panels to assess thyroid and liver function. While most breeders do not go to such lengths, these measures give us exceptional control over the quality, health, and longevity of the puppies we produce.

We believe the details matter. From health and temperament to structure and that irresistible Frenchie charm, our standards are uncompromising. Puppies remain with their mother and littermates for the crucial early weeks, allowing their personalities to develop in a secure, nurturing environment.
